Government Schools – An Education Poser

What in the heck is wrong with educators, teachers and the people in charge of planning, ie.  the School Boards around the country?

Our local School Board is trying to decide if it is benificial to give every failing child a grade of no lower than a 61.  They don’t want the children to feel discouraged!!!

What is wrong with this concept?  Is this going on in the rest of our country or only in the Norfolk, Virgina school district?  Isn’t this “No Child Left Behind” a little extreme?

Protecting children is one thing but THIS doesn’t teach them a thing!!  Pityful is all I can muster to say.  Talk about dumbing down America, phew.  Truly, this is a bite in the butt for the so called government educational system.  Sad, sad, sad. 😦

I’ll report back if I hear that this rule has passed.  It might be a little hard to find if they buried the ruling on the web site.

If you really want your children educated, do it yourself. Home schooling is still legal in most places. That is the only way they will be smart enough to know when they are being bull****ed by the media and politicians. There is no need for anyone to be indoctrinated in Marxist political/economic philosophies under the guise of schooling. Ah, you should have seen me in the School of Education while I was “learning” how to be a teacher!! Unbelievable! But that’s another life! LOL

You are absolutely right, pityful, pityful, pityful. That is rediculous. How do they expect these kids to learn anything???
