The Online Auction Radio show (http://www.ola-radio.com/) that aired Thursday, October 23, 2008, was, without a doubt, one of the funniest internet radio broadcasts to date. I like calling it a show for the technically challenged. 
You see, Dave (McButtons) White of http://ecommerce-marketing-radio-network.com/ and host of our OLA radio broadcast, decided to use new software for the show. Well, all of us Ola’ers had to log into a new format so we could listen, talk and chat in the board. I being a novice at some new things was leary and it took me some time to figure it out! I’m a slow learner you know. When I, finally, got to the show I started laughing because Dave was having his own issues too. Sound coming, going, doubling. Nice to know I was not the only one having problems learning a new trick. he he he.
Well, Dave, finally, figured everything out and we were all able to be in the chat board, listen on the computer or call in on the phone. The newest thing was that when you call in on the telephone everyone is on a conference call so you can chat with each other at the same time. Very cool! Two of our members, Lyndaleesloft and Mnaz, called in and, then, Video joined Dave as well. I tried but pushed a wrong button and couldn’t figure out how to get the call to work. 
Told you I was challenged but I will eventually.
The new format is really wonderful and it was great to hear member’s voices. What fun. Dave ran the show overtime because of the initial gremlins and we were able to discuss many new happenings at OLA. The IT folks bringing in the new House/Store Fronts and catagories being built. Of course, it was also interesting to hear from an eBayer who is, seriously, considering making a change to a new venue because of the new rules and regulations imposed on sellers.
When I read my email this morning I received this video from a friend. I just started to laugh out loud and thought this was ME trying to learn the new set up for the OLA show! Dave (McButtons) White might like it too.
